In her 20 years of ministry, she has taken over 32 trips, connecting with 1,000+ missionaries and 100+ pastors. Sandi spent time on staff at two different mega churches in Southwest Florida as Missions Director, holding her BA in Theology, before devoting her time solely to Fusion Missions, Inc.
She enjoys spending time with her family of 3 daughters, their husbands and 8 grandchildren. Some of her favorite things are going to the beach, kayaking, reading books, and hiking.
“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed” -Hudson Taylor
It was my first missions trip to Honduras in 1999 where I had an encounter with God that forever changed my heart, my desire to know him deeper and serve him with my life.
Almost 13 years ago, in 2004, I was sitting in the living room of a friend when God gave me a vision for a mission’s ministry. It didn’t make sense at the time since I was on staff as Missions Pastor doing what I loved. But I made notes and tucked the whole idea away. Years later, on a mission’s trip God reminded me of that vision. I felt him saying, “Sandi, its time.” Like Moses I didn’t feel equipped for the call, but God encouraged me to trust His provisions, leading and direction. This was the journey to launching Fusion Missions. -Sandi Kistner
“Therefore go and make Disciples for all Nations…” Matthew 28:19
Beginning the Work of the Ministry
Upon my return home from that mission’s trip I began the process of laying the foundation for Fusion Missions Inc.
It’s been a whirlwind of trials, challenges, and amazing wins. Several pastors and missionaries tell me how this type of ministry is essential yet missing in the church. We are running full speed ahead helping pastors and churches fulfill the great commission with the greatest impact.
“It is amazing what we lose in life by listening to fear, instead of listening to God.” -Joyce Meyers
Fusion Missions Today
Today, Fusion Missions is growing at a steady pace. We have seven board members and continue to move forward shaping Fusion Missions, Inc.
We have been developing our mission’s strategies by coaching several churches with their current missions’ programs, training leaders and their teams on short-term missions trips on and off the field with great success. In addition to these training we will be hosting Missions Leadership Training seminars, inviting pastors, board members, missions directors and trip leaders to attend.
